The asm2dmodel package was prepared by Dr. Taher Abunama, based on the original ASM2d / BSM1 implementation provided within the BSM1 Matlab/Simulink platform.
The packaged workflow follows the upstream DTU/LU BSM1 implementation and the associated wastewater modelling framework described in the agreement notice and the Flores-Alsina, Gernaey and Jeppsson (2012) reference for ASM1, ASM2d and ASM3 model assumptions in benchmark wastewater treatment plants.
Acknowledgement is due to the upstream academic contributors named in the package license and attribution files, including Xavier Flores-Alsina, Krist V. Gernaey and Ulf Jeppsson.
The current Python package scope covers the ASM2d reactor, two-stream combiner, external carbon combiner, metal combiner, hydraulic delay, and one-dimensional settler modules.
